    An online platform that allows artists to temporarily lease their digital artworks as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Users can rent these NFTs for display in their virtual environments.

    - **Limited Duration Leasing**: NFTs are leased for a predetermined time, after which they revert to the owner.
    - **Cryptocurrency Payments**: Rental fees are transacted in cryptocurrency for the agreed-upon lease duration.

    - Core gameplay features. The prototype has some of this implemented already but you’d need to complete other features like looking for checks, stalemates, draw conditions, etc.
    - There are some interesting additional game elements you could add. For example, you could make each piece “cost” some amount of APT, so in order to play a game you must commit a certain amount of APT. Based on the end state of the game, the winner gets the pot.
- Aptos Book Club

    On-chain platform for minting and utilizing audiobooks and PDFs of books as NFTs. Users can transfer ownership and even create subDAOs based on genres, authors, or series.

    ### **Description**
    
    A decentralized futures trading platform built on blockchain technology, specifically tailored for short-term contracts that expire in 24 hours. Users can trade a variety of financial instruments in a secure, transparent, and efficient manner.
    
    ### **Key Features**
    
    - **Non Custodial**: Users retain full control and ownership of their assets throughout the trading process.
    - **Instant Settlement:** All trades, profits, and losses are immediately settled via smart contracts as soon as the 24-hour contract period expires.
    - **Trading Contract**: Manages the buying and selling of futures contracts, including order matching and margin requirements.
    - **Expiration Contract**: Handles the expiration of futures contracts and ensures the settlement is in accordance with the contract terms.

- Secure on chain messaging
    
    ### Description
    
    Popular messaging systems today suffer from problems intrinsic to centralized services relating to reliability, censorship, etc. Aptos supports many features you’d want to see in a chat system already: censorship resistance, extremely high reliability, ZKPs, low time-to-finality, etc. With this feature set it is possible to implement a secure, reliable, private chat system on chain.
    
    ### Key Features
    
    There is a long list of features you could support here:
    
    - Zero knowledge anonymous social proofs allowing access to chat rooms
    - Decentralized e2e-encrypted messaging relays (potentially on chain)
    - Enhanced chat features like stickers, etc.
    - Auto membership based on token ownership.
    
    There is lots of cool tech out there already that could be leveraged for this.

- On-chain Framework for musicians

- Staking Registry
    
    How it works:
    
    - Friends and family can stake APT as a wedding gift.
    - As long as the couple stays married, they get to keep the validator rewards.
    - If the couple gets divorced, the APT and any unclaimed rewards get proportionally redistributed to the friends and family that staked in step 1.

    ### Variations
    
    1. Milestone based rewards
        1. 1% of the delegated APT is transferred to the bride and groom’s multi-sig wallet every year on their anniversary. 
        2. Friends and family do not have clawback rights on these deposits if there is a divorce down the line. They would fall under a Gift Tax (starts at 18% in the US).
    2. LSD
        1. Friends and family may choose to utilize liquid staking derivatives to both increase the velocity of money in the aptos network and utilize their capital more efficiently.
    3. If kids then savings **fund
        1. If kids are had, then the bride and groom (or their accountant/custodian) goes in and toggles the kid switch in the Staking Registry UI which automatically streams 10% of the monthly APT rewards and 10% of the yearly APT deposit (still 1% of total delegated APT) into a new wallet that will serve as a savings/college fund for the kid. 
        2. For every kid, another 10% is withdrawn from the parent’s rewards and the 1% deposit of the principal. 
    4. Arbitration mechanisms
        1. In case of disagreements on how to use the rewards, implement an on-chain arbitration mechanism for a 3rd party or a DAO composed of undivorced couples to make decisions.
    5. NFT Mementos/Yearly Hallmark cards
        1. Issue nice NFTs like a Midjourneyd bouquet of flowers or something similar to the bride and groom’s multi sig on their anniversary
        2. This could be done in collaboration with Hallmark cards or Dove chocolates or something. Have Hallmark sponsor these NFTs (and transactions) and have them redeemable at Walgreens for a Dove bar of chocolate - or something like that. 
- NFT Burn-a-thon
    
    ### **Description**
    
    A live event where a large number of NFTs are burned in a short period to showcase the network's throughput capabilities.
    
    ### **Key Features**
    
    - **Real-time Tracking**: A dashboard displays the number of NFTs being burned per second.
    - **Community Participation**: Community members can take part in the event.
    - **Performance Metrics**: Capture key metrics like transaction time, gas fees, and network latency.
    - **Smart Contracts**: To manage the burning process and track metrics.
- Private Key Trading
    
    ### **Description**
    
    Infrastructure to facilitate the trading of private keys in a trust-minimized manner. Enables trading of non-transferable tokens, selling locked voting power, instant liquidity for staked APT, and on-chain privacy.

- Family trees on chain
    
    ### Description
    
    Lots of family tree information is accessible, but gated behind paywalls, e.g. with Ancestry. This information is actually publicly accessible from a variety of government sources (libraries, archives, etc) but very hard to search and like all centralized services, prone to broken links, takedowns, etc. Having family tree information on chain for all time could be a great resource for the genealogy community.
    
    ### Key Features
    
    - You’d need to think about how best to represent family tree information on chain. A natural way to do it with modern Aptos standards would be to have each person be an object and form that into a tree, with information stored along the edges. The composability of objects would make it easy to update the information you can store as more features are added.
    - To make it easy to query this information you’d likely need to build a [custom indexer processor](https://aptos.dev/indexer/custom-processors/).
    - A frontend for displaying and eventually inputting family tree information.
- dEcommerce Tech Stack
    
    ### **Description**
    
    A decentralized tech stack for Ecommerce that allows tokenization of real-world assets and provides various functionalities to online stores.
